10 Year Miami Tuxtla - Tatuaje
Pete Johnson from Tatuaje Cigars has nailed it with this project. I have been a huge fan of Tatuaje Cigars since I first tried them around 6 years ago. If for nothing else, the quality of each stick is worth giving them a try. Construction, flavor, overall quality is fantastic.
This cigar was originally released in 2013, but now is flying under a new banner…Tuxtla. The big change from the original release is in the wrapper. Under the Textla banner, named after San Andrés Tuxtla, the city in Mexico where most Mexican San Andrés wrappers are grown, this release replaces it’s original Ecuadorian Habano wrapper with the San Andrés Maduro wrapper. Only 2500 boxes of this particular blend will be released at 20 cigars per box. Grab one while you can.
For me the flavors hit right of the cap and first light up. The cap immediately gave me dark, bold coffee vibes. I was ready to smoke it immediately. As I smoked through the cigar I was getting some of my favorite notes in a cigar: spice, oak, coffee and a little chocolate.
