Factory Smoke Sungrown - Drew Estate

Drew Estate is one of the most popular cigar brands out there. From the Liga Privada line to the Undercrown and Blackened M81, there is no shortage of absolutely fantastic cigars coming from Drew Estate. What you might not expect is a high quality, budget-friendly cigar, to come from them as well. While they have raving fans in all of their cigar lines, they seem to be trying to also have a huge presence in the bundle cigar arena also. And it is the Factory Smokes that do it for them.

The Factory Smokes I’m having today is the Sungrown. Handmade in Drew Estate’s La Gran Fabrica in Esteli, Nicaragua, these budget-friendly cigars bring as much quality as their more expensive counterparts. But this is not a second best for me, it’s a great stick. Oily and rich with hints of spice, wood and natural sweetness. These natural flavors come from the Sungrown Wrapper. This cigar was consistent throughout, from beginning to end. I will admit, that toward the end of the cigar, the cap does get a little soft. There is a bit of a difference there from other more expensive cigars.

If I were making a recommendation on this cigar, I would say you should absolutely try it if you haven’t. At around $2-2.50 per stick, they make for great humidor filler. They’re perfect for sharing with buddies while on a golf outing or at the lake. It’s also a stick I really enjoy when doing some yard work. A cigar I don’t mind putting through some sweat and work because of the price point.

Don’t overlook them because of their cost. The Factory Smokes are a fantastic little cigar for everyone.
